belt reset
#1
the 100 hour belt trip happened today so i reset the light (very easy to do) and started it back up and took it for a little ride then shut it off for a couple of min. i went to start it turned the key on then hit the starter button and i heard a pop come from under the seat and my dash went dead turned the key on and off a few times and it didnt work. i checked all the fuses none were blown. i turned the key on and it decided to work it also reset my dash all except the hour and odo. meters. anybody got an idea what that popping noise was? thanks

well i took it to the dealer and he took a look at it and guess what was wrong................. THE POSITIVE CABLE WAS BEARLY ON THE BATT. TERMINAL!! he said that it was sending jolts of electricty to the CDI causing it to act weird, he also gave me a few fuses becuase he said that the engine break control fuse sometimes gets crud and stuff in there causing similar problems
