I don't really think you'll see "$40" worth of differance with just a filter. I would recommend getting a jet kit (about $40-50) and buy a cheaper aftermarket filter like a twin air or UNI. I think they are around $15-20.

hey you guys that are running clamp ons have you had any problems with it? i did this with mine and it runs great for about an hour then slowwly starts to lose power then eventualy it will barly move. i figured it was sucking hot air off the motor and since hot air is thinner that cool air it runs extreamly rich. i could get mine setup right so i put the air box sytem back. have any of you had this problem?

i thinking about the same thing for my mo'. iam afriad of it fallign of when im riding the tracks. i usually get 4, 5 feet of air and im afraid of it falling off. i was thinking to get some airbox vents and the kand that fits in the airbox.

I pulled the top of air box off (sucks more air), removed train plug at bottom of filter box (incase water enters top) and run a outerwears pre filter, works great and better throttle response.
