whats the word on alltoys cdi?
You should find a previous post of his and PM him,, last I talked to him he was kinda feed up with having to argue and defend himself every time he puts a post up! He has been trying to help us improve our machines and has asked nothing in return but seems to get alot of ridicule!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just like thumpers momma told him,,,,, if ya don't have something nice to say,,, don't say anything at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too Fast,
I have been working on 3 ignitions one is cam fired and the other 2 are crank fired. My main concern was to find something that would work on 2 cylinder or single cylinder. I need to know more about how your machine fires and how much timeing your cdi has built into it. All these ignitions need some fabing and modifications done to your machine to mount the after market pick up and reluctor wheel. The wheel is the key to how much timeing you will get and how the machine fires.
I was on a Munchkin Run this weekend so I put my 650 through its paces and the ignition worked just great I am really happy with it. I bought a HPX 4 cylinder unit through Electromotive I am useing this because of the way the Kawi fires at 90* but I think you have single cylinder so you would not have to go as elaborate as myself.
The benefits are great as I can control initial timeing for start up, maximum timeing to come on full at what ever rpm I choose, a rev limiter up to 15,000 rpm that I choose, a switch that will operate a light for shifting on a manual trany or maybe for Nos applications. I had it hooked up this weekend with 2 stage Nos it was exilerating.
There are different ignitions and they can be made to work on your machine. I am leaving for Sweded early in the morning and will be back next week I can answer more then.

Shotgun,
While I am in Sweden there is a Ducati race team who I have been chating with on their Ducati race bike which just happens to have the same fireing order as our Kawi's have. They are going to let me see first hand how they set their machine up and I should be able to see how it works on a race test race track. They also have a diesel raceing bike that is in the top 5 super bikes on the can am circuit I am interested in this too, diesels keeping up to gas engine bikes sounds great.
Free love.......I wonder if one of our seats is cancelled LOL, if it is it will probably be mine LOL
