Mojave vs. 300ex
#43
Mojave does weigh 379, the 300 weigh's 377, they both weigh over 400 when filled with gas. The magazines are all fake. The company with the most money put into the shoot-out's win. That is why Honda has so many ad's in the magazines and happen to beat all the other manufactor's quad's and why they get so much hype but have nothing more than a hampster on a wheel running the engine. That is why the Mojave never wins anything

If the company with the most ads wins then why did the Polaris Sportsman beat the Honda Rubicon in the Dirt Wheels shoutout?Sounds to me like when someones ATV loses they think up excuses for it. Rather than seeing their ATV just isn't the best and they can't live with that. When all I had was the Mojave and it lost the shootouts I lived with it because I knew it was not the best, that same shootout even helped make my decesion about getting the 300EX and I have never been happier. It's just plain better than my Mojave ever was.

This topic is like beating a dead horse! Only you can answer this question as to which one is better for you. The fact is that by all accounts I've ever read the Mojave is slightly faster and the 300EX is slightly better at everything else. They are closer than the mags may lead you to believe in my opinion. Which one do you think looks better? Which one feels better to you as far as ergonomics? What about cost? This is the thing so many people don't consider. $800 is a lot of money. That means the 300EX cost 20% more than a Mojave. To put this in a broader perspective, it would be like comparing a $25,000 sport car to a $30,000 sport car!! The differance being a 20% higher price tag. If you put the $800 you save into the Mojave it would embarass the 300ex in performance and you could even narrow the suspension gap. There is a myth that the Mojave doesn't have any aftermarket upgrades. Bull!!! The make everything to include big bore stroker kits, electric start and all the other stuff too The bottom line is get what you think is YOUR best investment!!
