Default Prairie 360 Battery Problem?

I have a Prairie 360 that is a little over a year old and I have gone through 2 batteries already. I brought the machine into the dealer and after looking it over the dealer told me there is nothing wrong it. After installing the new battery 2 days ago I measured the battery's voltage at 12.6 V today I measured it at 12.3 V. For some reason the battery seems to be discharging somehow because the other two batteries did the same thing - after about one to two weeks without running the machine it will not have enough juice to start. The dealer told me that the machine needs to be run to maintain the charge. I have a hard time believing this because I also have a Prairie 650 and a KLR650 Kawi Dual purpose bike and I have only needed to do the trickle charge over the winter on them. Any advice would be appreciated...
