Another scam
#31
Still no answer from Adam, I even sent him another email telling him how excitied I was to come and see it and that I would just bring him US cash. For some reason he has not emailed me back???? Haha.
Now we just need to figure out some way to put these people out of business (AKA make it too hard to scam ATVer). Can we flood them with emails about the quads??? Jam up their email accounts?? Any ideas? (lets find a good legal way to get these people away from ATVers for good)

The scammers are here in ATV Connection too. I have an ad in the classified section and got this response yesterday:
Hi,
I was going through different ads for what i wanted ( 18' tandem utility ) which i need URGENTLY as a present for someone very close to me.
My name is Dr Smith(a vet doctor) and i will want you to email me as soon as you get this email with the information i need to know about your westegsg and also want to know your last price on it.
Do not worry about the shipping(i am located here in Botswana),i will be expecting your reply with the information i need to buy it,know if i will have to replace anything and most of all too, want you to try and sebd some pictures.
Hope to hear from you soon cause i urgently need it.
Dr Smith.
It's obviously set up as a form letter and just plugs in the name of the item that you are selling. I've not contacted this guy but I'm 100% sure that the next step would be having him request my bank account number so he could 'wire' the money in. Maybe if I promise to gift wrap my ( 18' tandem utility ) or offer to deliver it while I'm driving through Botswana next week he'll be so grateful that he'll discover that the Botswanan government has an extra 35 million that they need to transfer to my account for a few days due to some 'trade issues'. So just a word to the wise if you haven't run into this particular scam before.
