Just got my "top secret" proto type test Goodyear Radials
#1
the fronts are 26" X 8" X 12" ( 3 ply I think is what I was told ) fronts weigh 18 lbs on my scale
the rears are 26" X 11" X 12" .................................................. ..rears weigh 24 lbs on my scale
the tread looks like I would have designed... more smilar to the Goodyear MTR truck tire, than an ATV tire... they are non directional, so they should pull as hard in reverse as in forward... the side walls have about the same "feel" as the ATR's did ( unmounted )can't wait to get them mounted up & try them
sorry... I got excited ( got my 750 kit today as well ) & entered the title with no text...LOL... I'll look at taking a picture & adding it to my photos...WAM

As per my contact at Goodyear...Regarding the construction, 3 "*"s relates only to max pressure and load capacity. Actual construction is 2 true radial body plies (almost 90 degrees) + 2 belts (= 4 plies under tread ~ all nylon).

I look forward to seeing these pictures.
From the weights you listed the front is on par with the 25" ATRs and the rear is in the range of 4lbs heavier.
But then again, we are talking about a 26" tire vs. a 25" tire.
Be sure and get a mouted height with what psi you are using. Keep up the good work.

here are the specs, as per Goodyear... the rear tires look huge...gotta love em
AT26x8R12 3*~ measured on rim size 6.5x12" @ 5.0 psi = width 7.9" / diameter 25.3" (max load @ 7 psi = approx 380#) tire weight = 16.7#; tread depth = 20.2/32"
AT26x11R12 3* ~ measured on rim size 8.0x12" @ 5.0 psi = width 10.0" / diameter 26.4" (max load @ 7 psi = approx 475#) tire weight = 24.0#; tread depth = 22.7/32"
* Max loads are approx because these sizes are new to the Tire & Rim Assoc.
- final figures should be available soon.

The tires are NOT raised white letter. WAM colored them with a grease pencil.
Padzz,
WAM is Mikes initials backwards. He uses WAM instead of MAW for his signature.
I know, he's weird
Shhh. Just don't tell him I said that.
