Hey all, I was riding my zooter today and it felt like the belt was slipping. I checked the belt deflection and it was around 1.5, 1.6 inches. My P700 has about 275 miles on it. Is the spec for this machine the same as the P650? If it is I need some serious adjustment. Thanks

I heard 700 coming from factory needing adjustments. I had one on the first week of sept that was fine. I think you should have it looked at. You should get more than 250km on a single adjustment. Your belt also could have got water on it etc... You also have a belt safety switch that should trip when it really needs adjustments however I never wait that long. You also have the holeshot mod that is a mod that makes you watch your belt more often, atleast I watch mine more now with Dale's Brooks version on it.

this weekend i noticed my belt was slipping on my p700 too. it only did it when i was stuck in a mud hole with stock tires and i had forgotten to put it in low range. as soon as i put it in low range i was fine. i am going to pull the cover and check for mud/ water, i shouldn't find any though cause it wasn't that deep. is the belt deflection the same as the 650? i am not going back to the dealer cause they would say it is routine maintenance and i would have to pay like$100 for it. my p700 has about 165 miles on it.
