Shanman73, I hear ya. I battled back and forth for two weeks between the Predator and the KFX80. It literally came down to cosmetics....my kids liked the plastic on the Predator a bit better. I know what ya mean concerning the performance you get with the restricter removed.....I took the restricter off the Predator and with my 180 lb butt on it I can pop the front end up effortlessly and wheelie it all day long.

I looked very very hard at the 80. It would have been nice to have the kfx to match my V. If Suzuki and Kawi would update that little machine a little with sportier styling and better suspension they would have an absolute monopoly on the mini market. Their reputation speaks for itself in these forums. I think she would have been happy either way,but the predator just barely edged it out when I factored in everything. I look for Kawi and Suzuki to make changes in the next couple years. I know someone will say "why fix something that 's not broken?" They don't have to completely rebuild the 80; just give it some little V-force plastic and better suspension and maybe call it the wee-force..........just kidding about the name. It might work for a 50 though.
