I'll be getting a second job if it's a 400-500cc 4 stroke sport quad. All green, Alum. parts, elc. start, 10"-12" susp. travel. Anyone drooling yet? How about the Suzuki rumor in this months dirt wheels?

Anyone want to bet money that Yokley will come back to the GNCCs in August aboard Kawasaki's new 400 sport quad? bpace, what do you think?

It would be a perfect time to introduce it. I bet other machines in the Kawi line-up are a big-bore Prairie (Penland's Prairie is a 585cc machine, I believe).

Does anyone think that the Mojave will be updated? With the new Lakota Sport, doesn't that carve too much into the Mojave's niche? I dunno.

I don't expect William to show up on the new bike. He currently has the points lead going into the summer break and to change to a new unproven bike that he doesn't have much seat time on could end up costing him the points lead and championship. I also don't believe what they are coming out with would be able to compete with his race bikes. Remember, his race bikes are full blown race chassis with a motor that has had a lot of work done to it. I wouldn't be suprised to see someone else on it though.

Did William end up going to California last week to test the new bike?

If william went to test a new bike I hope he is testing the new Kxf-250 for production purposes.

Scuttlebutt was that he went to test the new production machine for comparison purposes with his KX-250 powered machines. Not a peep as to whether the new bike is a two or four stroke though. I personally think holding out hope that it will be a two-stroke is just wishful thinking though.

William is out there now. He drove out from Kentucky and was in Neveda on Saturday night. A frind had ridden out with him to Las Vegas and was flying back from there. He is suppose to be in California on Monday. he is staying with Doug Roll and I have no idea when they are meeting with Kawasaki to start to work. I'll probably talk to his dad sometime this week and I'll let you know anything I can.

If it were just the federal stuf keeping a company from building a 2-stroke, then someone did not tell Yamaha that. I wished they would come out with a kx-250 powered quad, until then I will be trying to pay off my truck and some other things so I can buy a 250r.

Bradley, where are you in points right now? E-mail me.
