Can anyone give me an idea of what the elka strut kit will cost for a P700. I went on their web page, but they had no prices posted. Just came in from plowing and disappointed on how much the front end drops. From previous posts it seems like the elka's are better than the progressive springs? Is it difficult to install/special tolls/etc...

 

They aren't too bad to install, just need a big wrench(41mm) or channel locks, and snap ring pliars! For the price you should call Elka and talk to Yann,, he is a great guy and will help ya out any way he can!

 

225.00 shipped If I remember right. The progressives are not progressive. Both are adjustable. Elka now has Struts but get your wallet ready. A rear shock too.

 

ROCK... have you heard how moch the struts will be ??? going on 3 years of abuse, with my stockers has me wanting to replace them with something adjustable as far as rebound & dampening ( like a racing shock ), not just preload adjustable...

As my quad already looks like it rolled out of Monster Garage ( I kind of like the look ...LOL...), I've been looking at fabing in a Toyota truck off road racing shock, in the place of the stock struts, there are models with compatible hights & diameters, the valving & springs could be changed to suit my quads weight, & my aggressive riding style... ( in my spare time ... ya, right...LOL... )

I'd be interested to hear more of the info on the struts,,, the struts pictured on the Elka site are stock struts with the spring kits on them and 2 weeks ago when I talked with Yann at Elka he said they were not making the struts!

 

If anybody knows a better deal on the ELKA springs than getting them direct from the manufacturer, please let me know. You can post an answer here or send me a private e-mail. I will be ordering my springs right after Jan 1. Thanks!!

 

I just purchased the "Strut kit" from World wide performance and I got a spring kit. What Gives? The picture on their web site and Elka's showed a full strut with springs. It actually mentioned a "5/8"" shaft as one of its features. Does Elka provide a full strut kit or just springs. I will be calling tomorrow.

Guz- sounds like y awant more weight carrying capacity for the front more than anything as you had mentioned your plow. before forkin' out the dough ya might want to cobble together an overload spring of sorts. I read another thread that some fella did it..
