Default cost of elka suspension

The ELKA springs work great on the Prairie. They eliminate the steer bump on rough rutted trails and improve ride comfort. I can tell a huge difference with both big and small tires mounted on my prairie.

Default cost of elka suspension

Well, I finally have all of the repaires done on the Prairie and I got a chance to test out the Elkas with the new ITP All Trail tires. All I can say is WOW. The machine handles far better than stock. The 25" All Trails only measured 24" high with 5.5 lbs in all 4 tires. The lower ride height with the stiffer springs makes a big difference. I traded back and forth with a friend and his new P700 and the difference was night and day. Even with the mods I have, the 700 seems slightly more powerful in the midrange, but, I could out maneuver it in all of the corners. The one concern that I did have is that I seem to be bottoming out the front suspention easier now. I will try to adjust the springs to have more preload and report back. I think the mudlites are going back on for this weekend's ride and the All Trails are going to get studded for Ice Racing season.

Bye for now.
