Default v force 700 gas mileage

Hi everyone i'm new to this forum and i am in the process of purchasing a new atv buy the beggining of spring and I was wondering what kind of gas mileage does the v force 700 get when your just cruising around in the trails at a stedy paste of around 15 -20 mph . From what i've read i know that when you really push the limits of the 700 it can really be hard on gas . Any suggestions would be greatly aprreciated .

You might be able to get around 40-45 miles on a tank.

I do a lot of crusing like that when i ride w/ my dad and his friends in the mountains. I can get between 45-50 miles to a tank. Thats riding between 15-20 MPH and getting on it every once in a while . The V does like its gas though.

Well if I can atleast do 40 - 45 miles on a tank(which is 16 -17 miles per gallon ,canadian) it would'nt be that bad for a 700 . Where I live its mostly trails around here that require you to go slow all the time
and if i want to go fast theres alot of gravel roads where I can open it up .

Ya i didnt think i would be able to go as far as my dad and his friends on a tank of gas. I have yet to run out of gas on my V when not trying to see how far it will go. So far the V hasn't impaired my style of riding because im afraid im going to run out of gas.

I would think that if your thumb is not heavy on the gas that it should do decent on gas . Its a 700 so i quess that i'll have to get used to buying more gas for it . I used to have a 1987 suzuki Lt 230 sportquad and that thing was great on gas but lagged for me when i climbed big hills or tried to race others that had bigger machines .

Ya the V does fine when just cruising, but when your out having fun and going fast like we all like to do it sucks a lot more gas. The gas doesnt bother me though. If u have a 6 gallon container you can fill up the V twice before having to go for more gas
