I love it there!! It will be VERY cold right now, however. As for lodging, we have always taken our motor home or slept in tents, because they have designated campgrounds and also bathrooms for the public. I can tell you this though, the sand is VERY soft!!! I would not recommend going unless you have paddles, it just makes it that much better. I would do it if I were you, at least once. It is a nice drive and overall a nice place.

 

Thanks for the info Bulldogz, I live in Provo, UT and it has been Freezing here for a long time. Definitely time for a roadtrip!!

 

I have raced my friend and his 400 EX. When my Vforce was stock we were pretty much tied on hard pack. Keep in mind I have about 65 pounds in body weight along with the extra weight of the 700, with just pipes and jetting I am much faster. At Glamis, I was riding with a LTZ 400, KFX400 and a banshee. I didn't race them but I didn't have any problem keeping up with them. I use sand skate 2's and have no problems hooking up.
