TurboJosh,
You are asking about a muffler modd? First off you have a turbo in your code name, is this wishful thinking because if you actually have a turbo hooked up then you don't need me to tell you how to modd a muffler.
For a wishful thinker the muffler modd is easy. Cut off the end cap on your muffler with a cut off wheel on die grinder. Find yourself a long drill bit either in 1/2 inch or 3/8 size about 18 to 24 inches long. Drill down through the baffles with as many holes as you wish I have used 1/2 inch drill bit to punch 12 holes in the baffles. After the holes are drilled punch out the largest hole you can in the end cap I went the full size to the just inside the flange of the spark arrestor. Now weld the cap back on the muffler make sure there are no leaks on the side of the muffler and especially on the outside of the cap just welded........done. Oh yes make sure you disconnect the battery before you decide to weld you may cook the cdi.......ouch!!
The bigger the holes and number of holes makes for better performance and increases noise!!
