Default to cam or not to cam the v-700

trying to see who has and what kind of results and how much bennifit was received and if any reliabilty was lost from installing cams, also what are the best ones out for the v-700.
i am a weekend rider who loves togo fast across fields, lol

thanks for all input.

Default to cam or not to cam the v-700

In my opinion, the cam change, (with the resulting jet/air box changes,) caused as much
increase in horse power as installing the dual pipes and first round of jet/air box changes did.

I also recommend that you install at least the equivlent of the EPI "pink" spring.

Default to cam or not to cam the v-700

The cam that comes with the FST big bore kits, is as radical as anything out there... the addition of those extra cubes, & that "nasty" cam, has turned my old mild mannered '02 650 Prairie, into something so scairy to ride, that I don't let anyone else, but me, ride it any more...

I highly recommend having the heads flowed, while you've got the top ends apart... IMO, that can make a huge difference...

bring on the high speed stress relief...I have a permanent smile on my face, on the week ends now...
