Default stock rims on prairie

Just wondering if I will notice any performance diff. on a P700 with c-series vs. stock rims as far as power loss due to the weight diff. I think it will be negligable but am trying to keep as much power as poss. with my 26" tires. I believe the diff. is around 10 lbs. total

the power loss will be negligable. you will have better stability with the c-series because thay have a wider offset making your bike wider!

most of you powerloss is due to the tires. Your not really losing power but gaining traction. Good tires wont break loose as quick making you think you lost power. at least thats the way i see it.

This is just a suggestion but have you looked at the Douglas aluminum rims (.190) thickness? There is no off-set with those rims and with 26 in.tires ,I don't think you will have to worry about rubbing. I have the c-series rims on my 650 and I do notice a slight increase in mud and crud being thrown on me because of the 1in. off-set. and the Maxxis tires that I have mounted are not a wide tire. The stock rims on my 650 are .160 aluminum and that's not enough strength on the rim for aggresive riding.
