Default Best Armor for V-Force 700

Thanks Guys!
Sounds like the AC Racing (IMS) Front Bumper is the way to go. Looks good and is well supported. I like the looks of the Pro Armor better, but I can clearly see that the top part of the bumper is not supported, Which means there is a high potential for radiator problems considering the way I ride....LOL! I still havnt made up my mind on the nerfs. Can anyone tell me if the AC Racing Nerfs with pro-Pegs come with heel gaurds? If so, are they the IMS Heel Gaurds, or do they look different?

Thanks Again.

They do have the heel guards. They look like

this. Got mine from ebay for $187, and my dealer wants $287 for the ones on his wall.

Prairie,
Not to belabor the point, but the IMS front bumper is not the same front bumper by AC Racing. When I was looking at both, I noticed that they are similar but not the same. I originally had thought they were until I looked a little closer on each's web site.

Also, AC Racing was very unresponsive. I tried e-mailing them a number of times re: my order and received no response. I called IMS and they not only had the better looking bumper (just my opinion) but were very polite and friendly. I have no affiliation with either company. AC Racing may make bumpers for IMS (not sure), but the design is different.

Just thought I should clear that up.

Mark

markdf, I second what you said. The "square area" of the AC front bumper is larger than the one they make for IMS. I got mine from IMS and the guy there said that AC does make their bumpers....and again, Iagree they were very helpful and polite. I also tried e-mailing AC concerning the difficulties I was having with their nerf bars and I never received a response.

Thanks Mark for clearing that up, I thought they were the same. I will look for IMS website. I have read a lot of negative comments about AC Racing's lack of service, products not fitting correctly, etc. Wonder why they are so popular? Seems like every picture you see of a pro ATV sport quad has AC Nerfs on them? Guess they can afford good mechanics to Make them fit.....
