Best Armor for V-Force 700
#1
Just curious if anyone had any suggestions on the best Nerf Bars, Bumper, and Six Pack rack for the V-Force 700. I like the Pro Armor front Bumper the best, and I like the AC Nerfs, but I had read somewhere from several people that the AC Nerfs didnt fit right, and they had to bend them a bunch to make them fit. You heard correct on the AC nerf bars not fitting that great. Mine are on but it was no easy task. They have a lot of "tweeking" to do with their R&D. I even e-mailed them (more than once) but never got a response.

I have the ProArmor bumper and rear grab bar and will be getting the nerfs very soon. I really like the heel guard on the ProArmor nerfs, it takes away alot of the blackness on the V-Force. Fit and finish was excellent, all holes lined up perfectly.

I have the IMS front bumper. looks real cool and replaces the plastic vents with metal. AC nerf bars.(yes a lot of "tweaking"). A DG 6-pack rack. And definately an oversized IMS tank. The IMS front bumper is the best looking one around. I think!

The AC pro-peg nerfs are a hard fit, but going between trees was never easier, and I love them now. No slipping on the pegs at all. Choose careful on the front bumper. Look at my pics to see what my PRM Summit did to my frame.(a little tree help) The Pro Armor will also fold in on the radiator if you hit high. The mounts are low, and there is alot on bumper above the mounts. I think I am changing over to the AC with the mud screen because it bolts different.

I have the DG A-Arm guards. They went on very easily and aren't fancy but very functional. I also have the IMS front bumper. Great looker and like someone else said above you can remove the black plastic front grill. My only complaint is that some of the holes didn't line up very well. As far as toughness, this bumper survived a bad flip without a scratch where I required two separate hospital stays.
