VFORCE-How does it do in snow and mud?
My friend loves his in the snow and mud. I live in Iowa ans we do a lot of river riding in the snow. He is a Motorcycle and ATV mechanic and has owned and ridden almost every quad and bike imaginable and he says the automatic trans helps him in the snow and mud much better than any manual sport quad he has ridden. I know his Vforce seems to fly through mud and snow much better than my DS650.

That is 100 % correct. I have ridden both in 1 foot of snow on a frozen lake. The reason , just like the sleds is that you keep power to the rear wheels 100% of the time. No backing off to shift. On snow/ice backing off even foe a second will slow you down RIGHT NOW. As in my previous post, the wheels need to spin at 40 mph for you to run at 15 20 mph. This has to stay constant for any speed to build.
If a manual tranny was any good in the snow, you would see all the hill climbing sleds with a gear box ( when pigs fly!!))
