Default P700 KEBC what does the Vforce have?

I love the Kawasaki Engine Braking Control on my P700. But what does the Vforce have?? Does it have KEBC or something similair. Every time I ride this P700, it just awes me how good a machine it is. I just wonder what the Vforce is like. It must be a awesome machine too, but what about this engine braking thing, it's great/....

I think it's the same engine brake system on the V.

The KFX 700 has no KEBC on it, Kawasaki left if off the V force, because the KFX is a sport quad.

enFORCER- so what happens when you let off the gas?? does it coast or what? It seems to me the KEBC would also be great on a sport quad,, really saves the brakes....

As long as the engine RPM's are high enough to engage the belt you will get some engine breaking. If I coast down a hill I will start to free wheel down the hill, but if you hit the gas a little bit, it will engage the transmission and slow you down.

Budxxx, you're right that it saves the brakes but it does so by putting the extra load on the engine. Which is cheaper, brake pads or internal engine parts?

It seems to me that the belt system and transmission would be taking alot of the braking force too, along with the engine, but I have not heard anybody in this forum talk about engine wear or premature failures....

I wonder how this will hold together?? I read in here somewhere some guy got like 24000 km on his so far....

I'm impressed that it doesn't have engine braking it is quite managable without it... when I had one for a test drive it slowed down well but I was using the brakes at slower speeds and that would explain it. BTW I had 24000km on my 400KVF auto = 3 belts and resurfaced the pulley once. My 650 right now I'm about 8000+km per belt. All mine miles are hard miles too. My 650 need engine work at 15000km but I felt the engine brake had nothing to do with that.

Kawi650- just curious, what kind of engine work did yours need?
