Fixed Knock in Primary

I mentioned in another post a few months ago about a knock at idle in the primary clutch and figured it was the wear shoes. I said I would let everyone know if that was it. Well I finally got around to fixing it. Took it off and took it to the dealer because I didn’t have the tool to take the spider off. On the second try and after ordering valve springs instead of wear shoes, the dealer put the right shoes in and it is now in spec. I put it back on the 650 and no more knock. Great! Well if it wasn’t for bad luck I would not have any luck at all. While putting it back together I notice oil around the head gasket and down the front of the block. Looks like a blown front head gasket. Go figure. I have a 4 year warranty so back to the dealer we go. At least I have a good clutch.
