I have a question for all you guys out there what is roughly the top speed I should get out of my p650?? what is the average spped all you guys get and what all have you done to your bike and what would you recommend anybody to put extra on the bike?? I would love to know what to expect for speed with 26" mudlites on it. my dealer is trying to tell me 95 kms an hour with stock tires is all the bike will show.. I think hes full of $hit. skun

Howdy,
I have seen 62 mph on my 650. They all top out around 60 because they are electronically limited. It doesnt matter what you do to it. It will top out the same, it will just get there quicker. I see that Highlifter has a module that is supposed to add power throughout the power band. I still havent seen any posts from anyone who has tried one yet. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 02 is bone stock and I have seen more than once 67 mph.Thats on pavement and holding it pegged. My buddy has an 03 and it does the same .Skun make sure they (or someone else) did not leave off that thrush washer on the driven pulley.I have seen on here more than once that having been left off either by mistake or someone thinking it was a shim.

Skun, I know I wasn't too impress at first with My P 700 but the last Drag race I finnaly hit 109KM/H and that was while I'm breaking the machine, no mods at the time. Now there's too much snow to try it good but can't wait to spring...

I can only get mine up to about 85 km/h, 90 km/h was the fastest which is about 55 mph. I have seen many posts about people getting up to 65+ mph stock. I do have 27" 589 which would slow it down and an outlaw clutch which may also contribute to the slower top end. I can however lift the front end with ease of a stand still or rolling start without a holeshot module. For the riding that I do 80 km/h is more than enough but sometimes that extra speed would be nice when road running. Any suggestions anyone may have to make the top end a little higher would be greatly appreciated.

Man guys I just don't know what to suggest.Like you said about the tires I do agree with.I guess me and my buddy are lucky.Mine will go like crazy up to about 61 or 62 then it starts falling off.We are only able to get this speed on a long open road but it will do it every time.Heck my 2000 Kodiak 400 would do 54.
