Have my machine apart right now and planning on installing my dial a jet on Saturday. Tank is off and i was looking for pilot jet adjustment. Carb is a Keihin CVK34, and I cant seem to locate this adjustment? Would appreciate some advice, or even an educated guess

I haven't installed a Dial a jet. If you haven't gotten yours yet, you may find the instructions will help you out.
That pilot screw adjustment is what kawasaki calls the air screw, other people call it the idle mixture screw. It is on the side of your carb.
Alltoys knows Dial A Jets the most around here, I believe. But ask the whole forum for your next question.

Thanks NYROC. I have the Dial a Jet Mounted and connected (peice of cake) but the directions with it say to adjust the pilot jet out about 1 to 1 1/2 turns to improve off-idle performance. I have not put bike back together yet, until I can find pilot jet adjustment. On left side of carb is a metal cap about 1/2 ". It is on the engine side of the carb though, and it looks like I could pry it off. Could there be an adjustment buried under that cap??
Anybody Know??

You may find that when the key is turned on, that you pump gas out the over flow. If so than the inserts you put in the bottom of the bowls are to long, if thats how you mounting them.
I have had dial a jets for three years, now, although I use them different than you will.

I just installed the dial-a-jet on my bike yesterday and today. I broke the little brass fitting that goes in the float bowl. The idle screw is the little flat tip screw that is just below bowl. Lower right. The bowl actually goes around the screw. Do search on adjustment every bike is different. The kit I just got has a separate direction sheet for the P-650\700. Some of the book is general install and the other sheet is for the P. Just don’t over tighten the brass fitting. I’ve been an aircraft mechanic for over 18 years and know better than to over wrench a brass fitting.

Thanx for the response davinator and sorry to hear about the broken screw. I took a test run last night with my dial a jet installed (still need to do muffler work and install twin air filter) and it is already awsome. I did not gain any top speed at all (still can only reach 30 mph uphill on my driveway 1/4 mile) but the response at low end is very impressive , reminds me a lot of my buddys Polaris 500. Cant wait to finish muffler and install air cleaner (today).
Going downhill and letting off throttle produces a lot of backfiring (lean) and I will look again today for the air screw. It is probably right in front of my nose but the search is starting to get aggravating.
Has anyone adjusted this screw on a 360 Prairie???????????????????
