It's not fastened on correctly. You'll find a third engagement point midway back the seat. You really have to push down hard on the seat as you slide it ahead to get it to hook up.

On mine, I just drop it on so the rear of the seat just drops off the rear rack bar and aim the front toungue into the slot and it (middle toungue) kind of slips in place. Before I pop it into the latch I pull up on the rear of it and the seat will bend in the middle making a wrinkle across the seat at mid point confirming I have the center toungue in the slot. If you put a cargo box on the rear rack too close to it's forward bar it makes for difficult seat install.

What do you think of your new quad, handling, ride, etc. compared to other bikes you've been on? Any problems getting anywhere you want to go?

kawiyowee : I have not use it that much today a will put it to test today., Actually I am from Panama in central america and have been the national champ for a couple of year in racing atv ( i have a cannondale speed fixed as a moto). But now I have a babie (and 29 years) and is time for somthing safer. But I am amaize of the power and speed of the p700. And tried all of the 4x4 an the p700 is by far the best. wich mods do you recomend.

The two most popular mods are front spring replacements and tire replacements. These are mostly for safety and handling (in my humble opinion) to stop the front from diving into the corner at speed.

The tires I have are Goodyear mudrunners. The springs I have are Elka springs.

I did a search on 'P700 & speed' and saw a few things you might be interested in.

I'm sure you will get a lot of input if you do a post stating what it is that you want the bike to do better. I know you asked for mods last time and got little response. Maybe if you were more specific, you would get some detailed suggestions.

Enjoy your bike.

Looks like you're airing it out pretty good in your ex-raptor picture. Motor on!

Hey panama,
Try installing the seat from the rear of the P-700. press down on the middle of the seat and push it forward. It makes it a easy.
good luck
