ya... I agree with the other posters, in that with a stock Prairie, with a degree Key, & a ( pick a brand ) module, you will probably get "most" of the horsepower you are after, or that is available, without internal mods, & that yes the cluches & weights are already fully shifted out... this means that the only way to get significantly more top end ( not acceleration ), is to increase the RPMs that your quad will run... how many more RPMs that your quad will pick up ( stock ) on the top end with only the timing retard reduced, is probably only 3-4 more mph...It is still questionable weather you'll have the power to reach the rev limit... however having the FST cams in my big bore kit, the additional timing at top end, & additional rev limit... I'd expect to blow the doors off a stock 700 Prairie with a degree key & module... even with out the CDI, these big bore kits rock... ( a buddy of mine ( who regularly races an '03 650 Prairie ), had to move my 750 across the warehouse, that I have it stored in, he rapped on it like he would have with his quad, & laid rubber for 20-30 ft, until he let off of it... he came into my office, with his eyes WIDE open, & said that, "that thing scared the crab out of him" )... this is what I'm looking for, not "most" of what is available ... so you can be sure that a Dyna CDI will have my name on it...

P700WM... I intensionally don't write this stuff down... I wouldn't want proof anywhere the wife might see it ...LOL... I think the FST kit was $1,400.00 - $1,700 ??? ... cheaper than I could get stock parts from my dealer for...LOL... I highly reccommend flowing the heads while they are off, this cost me around $500.00 to have a shop in Iowa do it...

mines not even fully broken in, but FST is great to work with, & I expect it to be as durable as stock...

Please spell it out for me the advantages of the new CDI on a stock 700. More top end? Will it become a wheelie monster? Power thru out the entire powerband? Runs cooler? I have been reading so many posts on modules ect. I can no longer keep all the info straight.
Thanks,

I received Email from DYNATEK. They said looking at an early April release and haven't set a price yet.

Yahoo! I can wait, and hope the snow will melt by then.

Coming from sleds it shocks me how inexpensive atv's are / or how expensive sleds are.

My last big (wife does not get on forums so I'm ok) $5500 for top end and pipes, and I had to construct the pipes to fit my chassis.

I myself can't wait to get my hands on this cdi and try it on the race track for 6 to 12 hours straight!
