The CDI does not use the speed sensor input for anything, so the holeshots won't affect it.

not so lucky bast*rds
What did you mean by not so lucky? You got a P700! You are already luckier (and smarter) than all the Honduh, Yamaheeha, Polaryuts (I hate to use the polaris one with the @ and two s on the end) owners out there. In fact you are luckier than I, all I have is a 650.

I would imagine anyone with a module that also has a Dyna CDI would probably rather ebay it to apply toward the cost of the CDI, or apply it toward the cost of Cams, or apply it toward the cost of port work.

Yes, all the way till it hits the rev limiter at 9200rpm.

Kawi650, RocksVforce,
I have remachined the front sheaves, removed almost 700g of material from the clutchs this allows the belt to travel higher up the front sheaves which causes more top end. A V Force will achieve at least 10-15 mph on the top end a P somewhere around 8-10mph on top end depending on modds. The new cdi is a definate help as it will ramp up faster than the old system even with a module and key.

The new CDI sounds like the way to go, even for a stock machine. Love the plug and play feature.

Bob,

I replied to your PM. It would be good to know for the Suzuki Twin Peaks owners too.

You aren't too far from me, we'll have to get together for a ride.

Peace,
Sgt_Rock
