There are people around here who will widen wheels, I did my steel wheels myself, but they are heavy.

It looks like around $1000.00 to have bead locks made and shipped. I might just buy cheap aluminum wheels and have them widen around here and put the extra $500 saved into more HP. A Muzzys pipe would do.

I talked to Douglas, they don't make anything wider than 8", I was told.

Shotgun, LOL,,, Mickey says I can have it back,,,,, but the big thing is that I have to go there to get it! We are planning to do alot of racing this year and it looks like I will have 4 Prairies here to get ready and keep together. Mickey will have mine there and Tom Farr will be racing it in a few GNCC races and then in the 12 Hour race! We will probley have 3 teams in the 12 hour this year! I have a feeling I'm gonna be a very busy boy this year!

 

I thought DWB ordered a set of 5 hole Douglas Wheels in 10 or 12" wide, Then had them redrilled for the 4 on 137 pattern ??? I would think you could buy a blank in 12" wide & have them drill those to the 4 on 137, or drill them yourself... I think the 12" wide Douglas wheels that DWB got were for a garden tractor... I'm pretty sure I'm going to use my TSL's for pulling this year, since they did so well last year... I think I finally figured out how to do a 16" wheel, & found a performance radial that I'll cut, that is 26" X 12" X 16"... it has a built in rim gaurd, & when cut, the combo should weigh no more than anything compareable... we'll see how many pulls I can do this summer... it is definately way easier on this "old" body, than the hare scramble racing...LOL...

 

I just ask about making custom wheels for the P650, should have asked about more...oh well.

It's Tom Farr, Tim's brother! Mickey is picking that the team to ride mine and he is setting it all up so I have a slight feeling that yours won't be faster! LOL!!!!
