Default I made aluminum radiator air scoops for the "V"...

Nice job......not just on the radiator guard but on all the other hand fabricated stuff too! That's one sweet looking "V"!

Default I made aluminum radiator air scoops for the "V"...

helped a little on lanching. could spin a little not wheely. also if you like to powerslide it helped me 100% on that. I think it cut a little top end though. i have had my stockers mounted to c-series recently so i am going to give them a try for dragging again to get top speed back. mark

Mark82...Nice V and nice hardware too. Is that a 50cal? Do the rad scoops help you run cooler?

Thanks, yes that is a .50 cal. Some people say that I got the .50 to make up for my small....well, you know......and I resent that![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Shooting has always been my #1 hobby but this "quad thing" is becoming an obsession...can't get enough. As far as the scoops helping it run cooler I'm embarrassed to say I don't know yet. Work has been a bear so I have not had it out since I've put a lot of the mods on. Either way, it's going to be hard to tell if the scoops help because at the same time I put the scoops on I also installed two in-line coolers and changed my stock coolant over to "Engine Ice". All's I know is it BETTER run cooler after all that!
