Hi Richard.
First of all- The stall rating of a primary spring is what determines the rpm's the clutch engages. The shiftout rating is what determines the rpm's at which the clutch shifts out.
Although the green spring has a good stall for for drag racing and trail riding, the shiftout is vertully indenical to the stock spring. You will not gain any more top end speed with the green spring. A piped rappy will eat you on the top end. Green spring has a 20 stall with a 122 shiftout. Stock spring has a 0 stall with a 121 shiftout. I like the EPI pink spring for overall trail and fast dirt road riding. It has a 0 stall with a 161 shiftout. You need a spring with at least a 155 shiftout to break through that 45- 50 mph speed wall the v-force seems to have. I have a Polaris yellow spring coming. It has a 40 stall with a 190 shiftout. It should be a real good drag racing and sand dune spring. I hope this info helps, LOL.

Thanks for the post, good information there. What's the top speed of the V in stock condition?

I really like the yellow spring. Havent had time to play with weights yet. I thought about going with 3grams lighter on the weights. atleast in that ballpark anyway.

Thanks for the MPH quote, I don't think my wife will ever come close to that, but it's there if she needs it.
