Default How do you remove the plastics on a KFX 400

My wife has a KFX 400 and she torqued the plastics real bad... now I need to remove them to align them correctly but I don't get the system used to hold the plastics on. It looks like just a little snap type plastic rivet but when I try to pull them apart it feels like its going to break. Anyone have any tips? Also does anyone know where you can download the KFX 400 factory service manual?

Just use a flat screwdriver. And from the backside push the center section of the black plug out. When it's pushed out, the whole plug will just pop right out. You can then reuse them.

I'd also like to know about a downloadable service manual.
