V-Force 700 a good beginner quad?

I havnt seen too many inexperienced "girlfriends" riding the V-Force 700. In fact, it takes a very experienced rider to handle the acceleration and power, even with the Auto Tranny. If you do decide to go with the V for her, be sure to Govern the throttle down to about 1/4 throttle. If she is less then 150 pounds, she will have a hard time keeping the front wheels on the ground, which could make it hard to steer at full throttle......LOL.

I got my wife a v 3 weeks ago and she loves it. It is her first quad, and she has rode my 650 alot. Just make sure she knows when to get out of the throttle. I think its a perfect quad for your girl, my wife weighs about 115 lbs , so watch out guys when she learns how to launch that thing you wont have a chance

Ish416,
I love both the quads. It is nice to fly around on the DS, but when going through the trails and putting around the V is the machine... One of the only advantages of the V over the DS is reverse, but the only time I use that is when I am unloading... stock for stock they are both great machines and if I had to I would buy another V, only because everybody else can ride it too.

It doesn't matter anymore about the V-Force, the girlfriend walked out last night. Three and a half years down the drain. O well life goes on I suppose.
flashturbo, HOLY CRAP, dood, wow, that is super-sweet man. I would love to see more quads come factory like that. Makes the limited edition Yamaha's and the limited edition Z400 look like poo.
So now instead of getting a V-Force for her, I can save my money ..... woo hoo, more toys for me.
Well thanks people, I really appreciate the input.

No way on the 700 v force .My wife rides my 650 Priarie so I fugured I would get her a 700 V force instead of her 250 Honda Recon. Well she rode the 700 twice and is scared to ride it .Its so fast and will pop wheellies easy. I would look a honda rancher and something smaller. I lost over 1k on this decesion on getting my wife 700 v force dont make same mistake.

started riding atv's 3 weeks ago ,after purchasing an 04 honda 250ex . bought myself a v-force 9 days ago. i love it .the thing fits through my single track mountain bike trail that is a 1/2 mile loop ,and i only have to back up once. there is power ,respect it cause your gonna wreck it. she'll come back man ,either way ,i'd get myself the v just to watch her steam.

she walked out cuz she found out you were tryin to get her killed by hooking her up with the basically the biggest quad money can buy. Something that would have surely sent her to the hospital. But that's just my opinion.

I am 16 and only weigh 125 lbs. Im sure she could have handled the V with no problems. Keeping the front wheels on the ground isnt that hard actually. You learn how much power you have and when to use it. The only time i really have a hard time keeping the front wheels down is on pavement trying to launch and such. Sorry to hear she left you though
