The 700 is the perfect quad for a brand new rider, all the way through advanced riders! The nice thing about the 700 is you can putt around on it all day with no promblems, and still punch the gas and keep up with everything out there! The 700 holds it's own with all other quads on the market! Have her sit on it, fire it up and listen to it purrrr! This is a fantastic quad!! She love it!!

5-6 hours north of you is Silver lake state park on the lake Michigan shore, your 400 with a set of paddle tires would be a lot of fun there
Also if you go check out the off road parts stores there just outside the parking lot

If she is not real aggressive than it should be a great quad. Here is a thought for you though. With my DS if i go to heavily ridden trails around hear most of them are rutted up with 300s, 400s, and utes. Promblem with this is my DS is so wide that it tracks outside of the ruts tossing it all over the place. So trails are a pain with it in my area. Plus Im one of the lighter DS riders at 180 and it is difficult to turn tight with it without being 200 plus lbs or better. Just thoughts for you cause I love my DS for open places, but if I was trail riding all the time I would want something similar to a 450 or 400 width and weight. Plus if your girl does hillclimbing i wouldnt reccomend the Vforce or a big quad, first time that it rolls over her she will end up eith a broken rib like I gave myself a few months ago. So really think about the type of riding she does and how the terrain is. Believe me, you will never hear the end of it if she ends up with broken bones. When big quads come down on you they dont get hurt........you do. Good luck

I'm starting to wonder if people actually read any replies other than the first post. About 8 people (give or take 5) said his girl would be fine on a V-force after he just wrote they split up.
