Default seating bead with Ether(starting fluid)

Does anyone know how much of a squirt to spray in the flat tire, to get it back on the bead. I cannot get tires to stay on the rims, brand new tires and brand new rims. I need some type of trail fix for this.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Leo

tie a rope around center tread of tire and insert a metal bar and twist rope with bar to squeeze center of tire---this always worked for me

be careful with starting fluid

take out valve stem if you haven't already and then put the air to it.

Instead of grease use dish detergent mixed with water. It wont rot your tires like grease will.

Thanks Bob, it was the 2 seconds I needed to know, the trail on the tire is bonus. I'm still a little apprehensive about this method but it's getting to be a big pain in the azz, everytime I ride, the bead blows off.

Out on the lake I don't have all the benefits of my shop.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Leo

I would go with the dish soap and water.I have seen the edge of a few wheels busted because of people using either,it can be a pretty violent explosion with a little too much it goes boom.I have found that if you clean the crud from the wheel while the tire is off and use dish soap and water with valve stem removed the bead will seat faily easy, once seated reinstall stem and inflate to proper pressure.
