That makes sense Mickey. The output can only be as good as the input.

i have a procom on my v and im happy with it, wish i would have got a procom for my predator instead of a 450.00 vortex. its all around better now. the v runs better, starts better. and top end is real good.

Let me ask you folks that have the Procom CDI and the Micky D cdi, what does it come with? does it have instructions? does it give you a base line to start with? And if you have a Penland key do you have to remove it and put the stock back in? and the big question is, is it worth the money?

I wish i could tell you something about the penland key, i would like to try one my self. I do think the cdi is a must no matter who you buy it from. Like mickey said its not magic but you will get a little better performance. if a guy wants to get major gaines he would have to get fst 800 kit or an equal. Im going with mickeys cause he does his r&d.

You don't run a key with my CDI because I already put the advance in the box.

Anyone know if the Procom CDI advances the timing? If so, how much? Does it do it throughout the RPM range?
