KFX 400 or a Raptor
#1
I'm wanting to get a new quad this summer and I was confused on which one to get. A KFX 400 or a Raptor. I weight around 250 and I want a quad with loads of power, and it has great acceleration and top speed. I ride around teh farm and through the woods. I usually ride hard alot. Between these 2 which one should I get? Thanks

I have road about all the sport quads except for the 450s and the raptor defintely seems like it has more torque they the other 400s and it has quick accelration and the most top end then any bike except alittle difference between it and the ds. Great all around powerhouse monster! my opinion.

Depending on the size of your trails, the ds may be too big, the v force too. If you have tight trail sections, stick with the raptor or one of the 400 class bikes (i suppose pred would fit in here too).

Rappy is a great farm riding quad...lots of power, and w/ a pipe it'll really rip. They are a better trail quad in my opinion than the DS (b/c the Rappy has reverse)...but not as fun in the woods as a V-Force (Rappy's just don't have the clearance).

I feel the 400 class machines have optimum power/traction.
The bigger bore machines have the same problem as the 250R and thats: over powering the traction available.
I feel all the mentioned machines are good.
IMO if your in the woods, the 400 class machine wil be more nimble and easyer to handle.
BTW I'm a guy your size and these are my findings
