I have heard that the new EFI 700 Polaris's are MUCH faster than last years models... however I doubt that it will be faster than a 100 lbs lighter or so 700 Prairie, in a drag... & I'm positive that it will not be faster ( same rider ) through the woods...

let the proof show when the EFI running after a tail light of the P700. If your 700 is set up poorly then maybe but I don't see it... I travel with a first year 700 polaris and it's not even close. Polaris odos typically are way off. I love saying to my friend "Oh, I was only doing 95 km/hr when I pass you!" LOL. Tires and riders will make a difference. He can give you a good little run for the fun thou! It should be a good machine to play with.

The word over in the polaris forums is that the EFI doesnt really have a significant performance advantage over the carbed model. Its simply much more fuel efficent and easier to adapt to temp and altitude.
