i was reading a new magazine today(cant remember witch one) but they were talking about the new twinpeaks. any how it had the best of this and that. brakes and suspention and all around great handling. ok thats fine. then they had a shoot out with the v, ds, pred and rapt. i didnt read it all but i seen that the v had the worst brakes ever made, suspention was crappy, speed was slow and over all handling was not so good.
i understand that were talking about 2 different quads ( not really) but how could they go from one extream to another?
would the problem be they like suki better than kawi? what goes here?

Those two ATVs were being compared against a different standard, so relative finishing order was different. The Suzi Q was being compared against utilitys, and the V was being compared against sport quads. I still like my V a lot better than those other sport quads though, and I have even owned the winner of their shootout before (Raptor).
I do not think their V had the best selection of components on it, I mean come on now, who goes to the Kawi dealer to outfit their V with performance parts anyway? That is like going to the car dealership to buy performance equipment for your car, and coming out with a set of mud flaps and expecting it to be faster. It had a mediocre pipe, stock jetting, no airbox mods, and no clutching work, almost everything on it was cosmetic only. On the other hand, the GYT-R Raptor had been dialed in a whole lot better by Yamaha than the V had been dialed in by Kawasaki, and that is why the Raptor won. Put that same GYT-R Raptor up against my V (or a lot of other Vs on this forum), and I'll bet the results would be reversed.
