AMS Zipper Tires
#1
I am in desperate need of a pair of these in 22x10x10. I've looked all over the internet and no one seems to have any. It seems these are the hot tires right now. If anyone knows of anybody who has these. The info would be appreciated. Thanks

Yep, I to have been looking for a set as well. If you call rockymountainatv they will tell you that they are on back order and it will be about 2 weeks, but that is just a bunch of crap! That is what they have been telling me for a month! Rockymountainatv sucks!!!!!!!!!

Even thogh these tires look like they will work OK, they have deceptive advertising ... anyone who has watched what happens to a wrinkle slick in drag racing, should know that the tire does not spread out & get wider, as the rpm's go up... they get taller & thinner... this is a matter of physics... unless AMS has been able to change the laws of physics...LOL...

If you read posting on other websites of people who have tried these tires, they say they are better the the 4snows and prowedges. Supposedly they have a stiffer and deeper lug then the other two. My friend dragged with 4snows last year and they worked good for him I want the zippers so I can be alittle different. If I can't get them I'm gonna have to look for some 22X10x10 12 paddles.

I got a set of these for my DS and I love them... I was able to get one of the last pairs that parts unlimited had. Found this out because a person who saw mine went to order them and they were back ordered.

I have a question about these tires. I saw guys running simular tires on Suzuki 250 quadracers and on a honda 250R out at the dunes. I am going to buy some paddles for my V-Force and was wondering if these work nearly as well as the regular paddles. We ride in the snow during the winter a lot and these are suposed to be the ticket in snow. I have seen people run regular paddles in the snow too and they seem to work well. So I am just wondering if I should think about these or just buy the Sand Stars. I will be looking at doindg some drag racing too here in the near future.
