I hate to be the one to break this to you guys, but I was at the Kawi dealer yesterday and asked him about a new quad. He told me that Kawi said ABSOLUTELY NO NEW SPORT QUAD in the forseeable future. They told him the demand for a sport quad isn't high enough. I don't understand this logic. Perhaps the demand would be a bit higher if they made a decent sport quad to begin with. I mean the Mojave is just a joke! It loses to every quad it goes up against in any shootout!
For all you guys riding Tecate's I have respect for you. They had the best motor ever put into a quad. Someone needs to smack Kawi upside the head and wake them up!
Thank You for your time!

400exrydr!
It's people like you that really get me bent! You have nothing better to do with your time but to come to the Kawasaki forum and rip on the Mojave? I own a Mojave and though it may not be the most technologically advanced machine it's still a nice machine regardless of what you think! You may have a 400ex and big deal maybe it is faster out in the dunes or on long straightaways, but it's not any faster in the woods than the Mojave! I ride with guys who ride lt250r's, Banshees, and even a 2000 400ex and none of them are pulling away from me on the trails in the woods.

The Mojave is still a good machine and I'm proud to own one! It may not finish first in all of the tests and shootouts but it sure seems funny to me that Todd Knippenberg has been doing just fine all season on his lowly stock Mojave! By the way he races against 400exs in his class! It's not always the machine but the experience and heart of the rider!

I do agree with the logic that Kawasaki needs to get a good slap upside the head. They do need to step up to the plate with a new sport/race quad.
