I am new to the ATV world and I had a question. When do next years models for ATVs come out, specifically Kawasakis? I am having a house built as I uh..type and can't buy one right now, but will be able to get one by mid-August. And I was going to buy a 700P. I like the SRA, the 700cc's, the low center of gravity. But with all of this talk of 750cc's, EFI, and IRS with the new models, I kinda in limbo. I like the idea of 750cc's, but I think I like the SRA more. A 700 twin is more than enough power for me. I hope that the 2004s are still around in August/September. But then again, 750cc's, EFI, AND SRA would be awesome!

 

You will still be able to find the 700's then. If you look you can still find 03's now. I beleive the new models come out some time between june and august but im not real sure.

 

Aug/Sept is the best time to buy one around here, right after bow hunting season. You should be able to find the 2004's until fall I would think. People still buying a few 03's new through the winter. I definitely would ride both the 04 and 05 before choosing, although the low c.g. of the 650/700 gives a good ride feel. Just doesn't feel like you are going to go over.

Hope you can ride (rent or borrow if you can and go with someone familiar with the trail, ride all you can) the competition big bores while waiting since you are new to atv's. Don't think you will change your mind, but you will have some background to know what you're stepping onto in Sept.
