I'd let you do it but you'd have it in the stocker your going to race.
I'd have to borrow your bike from Mickey in order to catch up and tell you to slow down....

I got the Sand Stars on the new C series rims. Ready when you are. I think I may get the 800cc kit from Mickey. I heard he wasn't going to sell you one after your "incident" . I could use a hand to install it !! You know, before you are rippin around again. I do have to check out your battering ram pegs!

The gapless rings are a tossup. I've heard good and bad, and I personally had a very bad experience with them. The problem with gapless rings is that they don't allow blowby to clear the rings of excess oil. Therefore, on the intake stroke, some of the excess oil gets into the combustion chamber, causing detonation if combustion chamber temperatures are very high. I put these in my 383 Chevy stroker, and I had to pull the engine apart after 1000 miles, and the rod bearings were showing copper! I had massive detonation, no amount of water injection, timing adjustments, or over richening the carb, had any effect. There is one thing that I have to say, though, is that my compression ratio was too high for a towing application(10 to 1). It should have been 8 1/2 or 9 to 1. My machine shop should have advised me differently! These rings would probably work fine in an engine that wasn't under constant, heavy load, like mine was.
