I'm wondering if anyone on here is using the aluminumproducts.com skidplates on their 650/700. The front hook holster/skid plate is pretty much just what I am looking for, was going to have something like that made locally, but might be easier to go with in of these sets.

My question is, for anyone using these, it do the fasteners really stick out as much as they appear to in the photos? If so, has this proved to be a problem with them hanging up on logs, rocks, mud, etc?

Any help is appreciated.

 

I like my Ricochet plates and Kawai a-arm guards.
