Need More Lighting!!! Do not want to drown!

I was running my V on last nite through some nice rolling hills that I know very well. I came over this crest and instead of running down the other side, I ran right into a new lake from the winter run off. The V went in, water splashing every where and the bike died.
I hopped off into about 3 feet of water and rolled it back up the hill, out of the water. I let it drip for a minute then fired her up, it sputtered, farted but ran although rough. I hoped on, blipped the throttle for about a block and it seemed to clean up and run normal. I booted home fast, about 3/4 of a mile and parked it in the shop. I took the clutch cover offf, a few drops of water inside but otherwise failry dry. The airbox had water drop inside, the inside of the lid was wet as was the outside of the air filter. I fired up the bike again hoping to evaportate any water that may be in the carbs. I rev'd her pretty good (no tach but with the Alltoys ignition, she was really reving) for a few seconds up and down. Seems to be ok. Let all the components dry in the shop overnite(cracked the furnace to 85 degrees!).
My problem is the lack of lighting on this bike to see anything. I feel like I am overdriving my headlights at 30 mph!!
I have heard of the NAPA bulbs giving a bit more light but I am looking for something like those PIA Blue style of offroad lites or equvilant.
I want to see at least 1/4 mile down the road or nite driving this beast will be pointless.
Any ideas as to how to add aftermarket lites or what to add would be a great help!!! I don't want to have to take my flippers and mask riding!

If it’s the same NAPA bulb as the P then it’s a lot more light. One of the best things I have done. I ride at night and they made a big difference. The low beams are spread out and are a little better than stock high beams. The high beams come together in the middle and light up the trail ahead. If the V uses the same bulb as the P than you won’t be disappointed.
