Default Cracked P650 battery tray....anyone else??

While servicing the wifes 2002 Camo 650 I noticed that the area where the battery hold down bracket bolts to the lower two bolt holes in the plastic tray where cracked with only a 1/4" of plastic left holding the tray. The battery hold down bracket doesn't seem to hold the battery tightly to the tray, it has a 1/2" of room to allow the battery to flop around. This is the original battery, if I replaced the plastic tray I think I'm still going to have trouble with the battery bouncing around. Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

been there.... Just leave it and put bigger washes on it. I also started by putting a wire clamp around the plastic cover but after a while I left it off. Batteries move around abit anyways if you want too buy some door foam tape, the small stuff and stick it in the middle of the plastic cover. I was going to fab a metal strap over the plastic. I wouldn'tjust replace the plastic tray... it will do it again.
