After a lot of research, I recently purchased a 400 auto. It works great! Of coarse, the belt will need the occasional adjustment and eventual replacement but it should last from 4000 to 5000 km. I have taken the quad through deep water without belt slippage. I know the local dealer and he told me that he haas never had a kawasaki transmission apart! I really enjoy not havivg to shift. However, remember there is no engine breaking with the auto but the front discs compensate nicely. Good Luck!
