Installed and tested my Dyna CDI today.

I am impressed. The installation could not have been any easier. The bike fired up instantly, and I mean instantly, no turning over. That surprised me a bit. The idle was too high, which was easy to correct by turning out the idle adjuster a bit. I have my low speed screws set at 2.5 turns out. The idle was smooth and consistent. I let it warm up for a bit and then went for about a 20 min ride. All I have to say is holy sheet this thing rocks! More power is evident along the entire range. From a dead stop with 27" outlaws and just a black spring, and not leaning back, the quad will wheelie with ease. It definitely didn't do that before. I didn't go too crazy but am anxious to do some more testing. I bet with the 25" atr's its going to be a ripper!
Guys dont overlook the fact that you have to use 91+ octane gas with this new cdi!!! I think people could easily forget that, and I'm not sure it's even mentioned in the instructions.

i installed mine tuesday, it was simple. played with it today. the front end comes up easy, and like mikeyboyesq stated i picked up 4 mph where as he got 3 mph. low to mid was great, when i nailed it and looked down to the speedo was at 45mph with no problems. mid range is very, very strong. my top speed before was 60 mph (which its was higher when it was new 63 mph. sheaves need to be replaced and belt.) and now it is 64 mph. im in the process of making a new super snorkel which will let this monster get more air. overall the dynatek cdi is well worth the money. im glad i held out for this product.

I WANT A V-FORCE CDI !!!!!!!!!!! Just had to get that off my chest. I understand the one CDI is out for the "V" but unless the motor is tricked out you won't see the kind of performance gains you guys are getting with your Prairies.

I installed mine today also......very impressed. It's been raining steady here and even in the slick grassy field below the house the 650 is now a wheelie monster with the new CDI. haven't done a whole lot of testing but like alot of guys have been saying, as soon as you start it up you know something's different. I was giving it some 3/4 throttle shots down a dirt road and I thought it felt sluggish...but on may way back I realized that it wasn't sluggish.....It was spinning so damn much it wasn't hooking up! lol!! Left some real nice 10 foot strips in the wet dirt. This thing pulls awesome through the mid range and doesn't seem to want to back off. very short straight stretch of dirt road here so I couldn't even keep the throttle pinned for long before I ran out of real estate! I hit 85 km/h(50mph) real quick and suprisingly still pulling alot more than stock. works excellent. anyone that hasn't ordered I strongly suggest you do!!
