DG3 w/ on-off switch?
#1
My wife just informed me that my "little box with wires on it" just arrived in the mail.
I'm stuck at work and wondering if it's feasable to wire an on/off switch on the module?
And if so, what will I need?
a toggle switch of some sorts?
Thanks for the help!

Howdy,
there is an extra wire on the DG3 for an on/off switch. All that you will need will be a little wire and a switch. It is really an easy hook up and the directions will guide you through it easily All that is needed is to connect the wire to the vehilcle ground and the switch. Have a goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Howdy DaveC,
you are quite welcome!! You are gonna love that little thing with the wires coming out of it. I have been running one for 3 days now and it is great!! Your quad will start easier, run cooler, have a lot more get up & go. I was running a Holeshot before and It feels to me like this has more low end than the Holeshot. Good luck with yours & let me know how it works for you!!! Have a goodun!!!!!!

Ross650; I was wondering what gains you get from disconnecting your coolant lines from the carbs. I did not realize there was even coolant lines to the carbs. Guess I need to check that out! I installed the DG3 in my 02' 650 and the stock 700's are still beating me. I hope the 4 degree flywheel key will help!! Also need a new belt and the valves adjusted, and check the jetting again. I'm still on the original stock belt and only 900 miles on the machine(just need to ride more!!!)

Howdy Cammoman,
The carbs have coolant running through them to assist in warm up. Down here in South Texas we dont need them. You might want to leave them on where you live. I dont know if there is any power gain from disconnecting them but it was a feel good thing. I think if you would add a good flowing pipe you might do a little better against those 700s. I do know for sure that my quad starts easier, runs cooler, and makes a lot more power, low and mid range. Havent topped it out yet. Well, have a goodun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
