I think this may have been mentioned here a while ago but this is a bit of an update. I e-mailed Trail-Tech asking if they still planned on putting a tach into their computer and this was their response (they responded quickly also......AC could learn from Trail-Tech):

We are working on a tachometer; expect it will release later this year. It will have a 12 volt connection, speed and distance features, tachometer with programmable shift indicator, ambient temperature and engine temperature with the purchase of optional sensor.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I wonder if it will be worth it, or will it be slow to react.
