Has anyone removed the recoil starter and installed kfx700 engine cover? I have a 02 p650 and a 04 p700 and the recoil starters are different. Can this mod be done to both or just the newer versions? I have seen a red Prairie with the kfx700 cover on this forum. Looking at the manual and parts diagrams there are different attachments for 02 650 and 04 700. How many people have had to use their pull starter?

 

I have never used mine but I wouldnt remove it to save weight or whatever.
